Temple Mount Sifting Project
“You will arise and have compassion on Zion, for it is time to show favour to her; the appointed time has come.
For her stones are dear to your servants; her very dust moves them to pity.”

Participation in the Temple Mount Sifting Project in Jerusalem is a two hour program which includes a 30 minutes introduction lecture and sifting guidance, 80 minutes of sifting and 10 minutes summary in which the guide explains the significance of the finds recovered by the group. Each bucket sifted contains artifacts from all historical periods of the Temple Mount.
The sifting work does not require a physical exertion and does not get participants dirty, but they may get wet.
